Melba Ruth Singer, cherished and beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on December 25, 2025, at the age of 86. A resident of Edgewater, Colorado, Melba was born on January 29, 1939, in California. Her family eventually settled in Colorado and she graduated from Elizabeth High School in Elizabeth, Colorado.
On June 7, 1958, Melba married Ronald Singer. She deeply loved her family and took great pride in her son, Greg, and her grandchildren, Colin and Jordann. Melba had a profound love for animals and nature, which brought her immense joy throughout her life.
Melba is survived by her son, Greg (Michelle) Singer; and grandchildren Colin Singer and Jordann Singer. Melba was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald, as well as her mother and father.
A funeral service will be held on January 10, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Chapel, located at 407 Jerry Street, Castle Rock, Colorado, 80104, with a reception to follow. A committal service will take place from 11:15 am to 11:30 am at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 880 E Wolfensberger Rd, Castle Rock, CO, 80109, US.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Melba's honor.
