Meredith Faye Malone

March 15, 2004October 13, 2020

Meredith Faye Malone (“Merbear”) passed away on October 13th, at the young age of 16. She left behind a father, mother, and sister along with grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins.

She was born in Atlanta Georgia March 15, 2004 to Patrick and Susan Malone, Meredith was a “Georgia Peach”, just like her sister, but they never lost touch with their familial Oklahoman roots. In 2005, the family relocated to Tampa, FL and then again in 2005 to Seattle, WA. There Meredith spent her early years in the Emerald City. In 2011, she relocated to Castle Rock, Co, where she lived, loved and shared her witty humor and charm with everyone she knew. This year, she was attending Rock Canyon High School as a junior.

From the earliest ages, Mer spent her time spreading warm joy with jokes, stories, or a funny face. Making others smile was all Meredith wanted day by day. Her passion was her music. Name any genre and she had a playlist for it. She would always volunteer to be the dj during family nights.

What her family and friends will miss most is her ability to make us laugh.

“I spy with my eye something beautiful…Mer!”

Dearest Susan, Pat, Macey and families,
We are so grateful that Meredith graced our lives — and she will continue to do so in our hearts forever more.
Although her dance on this Earth was much too short, she danced well. Her legacy is one of love, sweetness and joy.
Her memory is a blessing to all.

Dear Susan, Patrick and Macey,
Though we haven’t been in touch for a few years, we always think of those beautiful days we were next door neighbors in Seattle. We miss the days our daughters were little and thought of each other as “best friends” ! Our hearts are broken that your sweet angel is not here anymore. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers and we cherish the blessing to have known Meredith! May you be comforted by her memories and knowing that she is loved by so many ❤️

Patrick, Susan, Glenda and Don, I am so very sorry for your loss. Although I never met Meredith, I have been friends with and loved her grandmother for a very long time. If I could reach out and give each of you a hug I surely would. Meredith was such a beautiful young lady and from your description, she is certainly someone I would have been blessed to know. All my love and prayers for your family.

Susan and Patrick ~ Sienna, Scott and I cannot even begin to express how heartbroken we are about Meredith.

I have such incredibly fond memories of her from when I got to know her when she was part of our Girl Scout troop. Even though it's been several years since then, it seems like it was just a year or two ago. She was a joy to be around, with a wonderful sense of humor, and her smile would always light up the entire room.

From one mother to another, my heart goes out to you, Susan. You and your family are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Love,
Brenda, Scott and Sienna Ferguson
