Michael A. Giffin, 60, passed away on July 26, 2026. Born May 6, 1966, Michael was born in Albuquerque, NM and lived there only his first year of life before settling back in Colorado. He was a resident of Pueblo, Colorado.
Michael graduated from Arapahoe High School in LIttleton, CO, and later received his Bachelor’s Degree from Metro State University. Throughout his life, he carried himself with a quiet thoughtfulness and a steady, hard-working spirit—qualities that shaped the way he approached both responsibility and the people he cared about.
In his younger years, Michael traveled with his family and held a special love for Hawaii and Yellowstone National Park, places that reflected his appreciation for the outdoors and the lasting memories made alongside those closest to him.
Michael found joy in hiking, biking, and camping, and he also had a gifted hand as an artist. He loved to draw and was very talented, especially enjoying the precision of drawing real architecture plans. He also loved to work on cars, bringing patience and care to the work—another expression of the dedication that marked so much of his life.
Michael was beloved, and his presence will be deeply missed by those who knew him. He is survived by his mother, Therese Giffin; and his sister, Teri Westover (John). He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur A Giffin.
