With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we celebrate the life of Nancy Beth Stiles, who passed away on June 22, 2026 at the age of 77.
Nancy was many things to many people—a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother, cherished stepmother, loyal friend, and a source of warmth and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Born on June 14, 1949, in Oklahoma City, OK, she was raised in her beloved hometown of Bentonville, AR. After graduating from Bentonville High School in 1967, she attended the University of Arkansas, where she was a proud member of Zeta Tau Alpha and earned her degree in Special Education in 1971. Throughout her idyllic childhood and college years, she formed deep, enduring friendships that she cherished always.
Nancy made her way to Colorado in 1972 and went on to build a fulfilling career in the Mortgage Loan industry, where she truly thrived and was well known for her dedication and professionalism. While she deeply enjoyed her work, she once again developed significant friendships that she nurtured throughout her career and beyond.
She married Bill Ross in 1974 and was blessed with two children, Katie and Matt, whom she loved beyond measure and whose lives were shaped by her unwavering support and encouragement. She remained very involved in her kids’ lives, including leading as Girl Scout leader, diving into puppet ministry, serving as a catechist through her church, and instilling her deep faith in the hearts and lives of her children, as well as the many lives she touched.
Later in life, she found happiness and companionship with her husband, Steve Stiles, and through their marriage in 2000, she joyfully embraced an extended family, becoming a loving stepmother and grandmother whose heart was big enough for everyone.
Nothing brought Nancy greater joy than family gatherings, holidays, and watching her children, grandchildren, and step-grandchildren grow and thrive. She celebrated life's milestones with enthusiasm, and her home was often filled with celebrations, laughter, and the comforting sense that there was always room for one more person at the table. The more the merrier!
Those who knew her will remember her for her joy for life, boundless energy, devotion to her family, and endless generosity. She led by example—showing that strength can be gentle, love can be endless, and family is built not only through blood but through the relationships we nurture and cherish.
She is survived by her loving husband, Steven R Stiles; her children: Katie Ross Garces (Bobby Africa), Matt (Valentine) Ross; her stepchildren: Travis (Moyra) Stiles and Courtney (Jeff) Davis: her grandchildren: Sebastian and Javier Garces, Amelie, Lukas, Issac and Ezra Ross; and step-grandchildren: Gavyn, Xander and Justice Stiles, Laney and Ashlynn Davis who brought her immense pride and joy; and her brother Dr. John A. (Shelia) Rollow IV, as well as many other relatives and friends whose lives were enriched by her presence.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary Evelyn and Dr. John A. Rollow, and her sister, Linda Rollow Seidensticker.
While we mourn her absence, we also celebrate the countless memories she leaves behind—the lessons she taught, the traditions she created, and the love she shared so freely. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and in the hearts of all who loved her. A celebration of her life will be held on July 14, 2026 at Christ’s Episcopal Church in Castle Rock, CO at 2 pm. Family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and honor the remarkable woman who touched so many lives.
Though she is no longer with us, Nancy’s love remains woven into the lives of those she leaves behind—a gift that will endure for generations. Her warmth, wisdom, wit, and love will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her and carry forth her light in this world.
