...for the open arms and welcoming smile that always greeted me and everyone else who entered your household...for the food...the laughter...your feisty playfulness...the warmth of your presence...for all the beautiful memories.  Thank you for bringing Yona into this world and raising her to be such a beautiful woman - I see you in her.  I see you in Shannon.  The strength and beauty of all the Mun women - transcending several generations - trace back to you.  You live on in them.  I'm so grateful that I was able to know you in this lifetime.  I love you.  I will miss you.  I wish you peace, joy and contentment. 

할머니 보고싶다. I know that you’re happy and no longer in pain but I wish I could’ve said goodbye and see you one last time.  I love you and can’t wait to see you again. Rest In Peace.

Dread took another form after seeing your final hours. I can’t believe it, and I still don’t want to believe it. My heart feels deflated, but funny enough it doesn’t feel as empty when I think of all of the fond memories we shared. You taught me that love can be felt without a shared language. My Korean was never the best, but it did not need to be with you. Love was the clearest language you spoke, and I never had an issue understanding it. Thank you for being in my life. I am low in spirit but so incredibly grateful and fortunate to have had such a person in my life. Until next time 할머니 - I love and miss you so much. 

Naomi always would tell me my grandma use to make me this and make me that. And I can’t thank you enough; Because now I get to reap the benefits of all the delicious dishes you showed her and fed me! One thing I cherish you never let me go hungry always asking if I ate 🙂. And You always greeted me with a warm hug and welcomed me in since the first day I met you. Even though you’re in heaven now, I know we’ll have a daily reminder.  I always tell Nao, Nylah looks like you. We’ll miss you! Tell the father hello for me! The  moment I heard the news my heart just stopped. lm very sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful person and will always be in my heart. She was always good to me and she is someone I will miss. I wish her peace and I will hold the loving memories close. I'll miss her sincerely.

Where do I start. From the moment I came into this family you have always treated me like a son. There was never a time I saw you that you weren't trying to give me something. Even those silly little energy drinks you would give me that drove your daughter crazy every time you did. You have the biggest heart and strongest will I have ever known. I know exactly where your daughters get it from. I will forever miss our talks around our yard, you showing me how not to kill all the beautiful flowers you would help us with every spring. I will miss our hugs and you telling me "I love you son". I will never forget that. I know that you are at peace now and watching over all of us. We will all do our best to continue to make you proud. You will forever be in  my heart. 

I still can’t accept that you’re gone. It feels so surreal to me. I wish I could turn back time and  really appreciate the moments we shared. I’ll never forget the things you taught me, and I can’t thank you enough for all the sacrifices you made for our family. I’m thankful for the time we shared, and you were a big contributor to who I am today. I love you.
