Patrick Brian Larson

Patrick Brian Larson, 41, of Castle Rock, CO passed away surrounded by family on Monday, March 23, 2016 after a courageous battle with leukemia. Pat, raised in Stillwater, MN, was born on June 24, 1974. Pat is survived by his parents Kent and Diana Larson of Stillwater, MN; siblings Sue (Bill) Vezina, Brent (Laurie) Larson, and Eric (Mary) Larson; nieces and nephews Jonathan Vezina, Kirsten Vezina, Jane Vezina, godson Jake Larson, and Jessica Larson; godson Luke Kuhn, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his Castle Rock family. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Warden and Berniece Larson, Bert and Leola Worm, and cousin Brian Worm.

Pat attended high school in Stillwater, MN, and graduated in 1992. He attended the University of Wyoming where he played football with the Wyoming Cowboys. It was in Wyoming where Pat developed a love for the great outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, skier, and mountaineer. In 1997, Pat moved to Castle Rock, CO where he built a network of great friends. Pat enjoyed outdoor sporting events with his friends, playing hockey, and coaching youth sports. Pat was loved by all who knew him. He was a dear and caring friend to many. His bright smile and humorous disposition will be missed by all. Pat was employed by Foothills Energy Services Inc. in Franktown, CO.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Plum Creek Church, 960 South Interstate 25, Castle Rock, CO. Casual attire is preferred. Memorials will go towards a scholarship in Pat’s name.
