Peggy graduated from Rifle High School and moved to Denver to attend college. Due to her father's illness she returned home to help take care of him. After his passing her family moved to Grand Junction where she began working for Mesa Junior College. She worked in their mail service department for over 20 years before retiring.
She met Al at church and they were married on Nov. 13, 1976. She loved to read and go to garage sales.
She is preceded in death by her husband Allen Hobbs. Survived by step son Michael Hobbs (Sandra), grandchildren: Bryon (Christy), Brandon, Haley and Eric ; great-grandchildren: Madison, Hunter and Wynter.
