Phyllis Ann Crispe, 81, went to be with the Lord on March 28, 2021, in Parker Colorado.

Phyllis was born on August 11, 1939, in Newcastle, Nebraska to Orville and Lilla Birkley. When she was young, her family moved to Loveland, Colorado where Phyllis spent her growing-up years and graduated from Loveland High School. She later met and married John Edward Crispe.

Phyllis worked for years as a tax preparer. She especially took pride in being a mother to Jesse and Corey Crispe. She raised her family in Sedalia, Colorado, with acres of land and many animals including horses, sheep, rabbits, chickens, and cows. Unsurprisingly, she was a 4-H leader for her sons.

Phyllis was a pianist and delighted in working on her crafts especially ceramics and painting. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her family at their mountain home in Grand Lake.

Phyllis is survived by her two sons, Jesse (Andrea) Crispe and Corey (Jeri) Crispe; grandchildren Alexander, Samantha, Brendon, and Kaylee; her brother, Wayne Birkley; and her sister, Marlys Arndt. She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Lilla Birkley; her husband, John Edward Crispe; and brother, Wally Birkley.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, April 16, 2021, at 11:00 am at Heritage Eagle Bend Clubhouse, 23155 E. Heritage Pkwy., Aurora, CO.
