So sorry to hear of Rich's passing. Wish we could be there in person to see you all. I remember the three of us riding home from North Routt one night after Rich helped us (ok he did it all, we wrapped meat) butcher an elk and coming across a mountain lion. The only one we've seen. Marla, Gary, Denise and Jimmy, love to you all.

Rich will be greatly missed by family and friends. We share fond memories of Rich and Marla as our bowling partners and going on trips to warmer places such as lake Powell and Hawaii
,Who could forget the road to Hana. Rich was a great guy.

Have you ever met a man of many hats? Notice every single photo has a different hat on. Well, I’ve been in the Davis family for 22 years and have never seen him go shopping for an actual hat! Rich was a husband to his sweetheart Marla Jo. Father to his 3 children Gary, Denice & Jim. Brother to Dennis. Grandpa to his 7 grandkids Sabrina, Katie, Adam, Alison, James, Abby, & Drew. Custer State Park Sheriff. Friend to anyone and everyone! Babysitter to all of our children. Joker with small simple stories. Handyman who remodeled lots of requests from Marla Jo and family. Navy man who served while Marla Jo held down the fort. Giver who would always offer anything, even if it was a smile. Never a complainer of what tv show to watch all the way to kids crying around him. Teacher of manors with his edict of taking off his hat at meals, always removed shoes inside, & so much more! Our hats are off to you Rich! May you live pain free in our heavens above. We Love You!

What a kind, caring man Rich was, he lives for his family. You were all so fortunate to have had him as a role model. My thoughts are with you all.

One of my favorite memories of Grandpa is every time we had a family reunion in Steamboat. Grandpa would always confuse Sabrina and my name. It was a great family joke that happened every time we were all together.

All my funniest memories involve cars/destruction of cars! I bet there are no cars in heaven! I love you Uncle Richard. I'll be glad when I see you again. I'm always here for you Aunt Marla, Gary, Denise and Jimmy. Love your neice and cousin Chrissy.
