Ron is survived by his wife of 65 years, Joyce Harmon, son Ron Harmon Jr. and wife Barb, daughter Julie Sigmund and husband Vince, 5 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren.
Born on March 26, 1935, Ron lived a life guided by faith, dedication, and a commitment to serving others. A devoted minister and leader in Community of Christ, he spent many years sharing the church’s message of love, compassion, and hope with his congregation and community. His ministry touched countless lives, and his kindness and wisdom will be remembered by all who knew him.
Ron proudly served his country in the United States military, exemplifying the same commitment and integrity that marked every part of his life. After his service, he built a long and successful career with the Energizer Battery Company, where he worked as a chemist and statistician, and was recognized for his hard work, reliability, and valued friendships with his colleagues.
Beyond his professional and ministerial work, Ron cherished time with his family. He found joy in simple moments—family gatherings, time outdoors, and the fellowship of friends and neighbors.
Ron’s legacy lives on through his loving family and the many lives he touched throughout his years of service and ministry.
