Ronald (Ronnie) Houser, 72, passed away on Saturday (September 5, 2020) at Porter Hospice, Centennial, Colorado. Ronnie was born on October 22,1947 in Campo, Colorado, one of thirteen children of Elmer and Dorothy Houser. He married Laura (Cantrell) Lachata on January 29, 2009. He is survived by his wife, Laura, two stepsons, Bryan (Raquel) Lachata, and Drew (Jessica) Lachata, granddaughter Cassidy Lolley, six siblings and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and six siblings, including his twin brother.
Ron was a great man who lived life to the fullest. Ronnie will be remembered as an avid bird hunter, fly fisherman and true friend. He was loved and respected by all who knew him.
Private graveside services will be held In Campo, Colorado. In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, the family requests memorials be made to Ronnie’s favorite conservation organization, Pheasants Forever, or Porter Hospice, Centennial, Colorado.
