Samuel Morgan Cazorla

Sammy was born on May 7th, 1991, in Lajes Field, Azores, Portugal. Although he moved around as part of a military family, he spent most of his life in Colorado. Sam was an active child, participating in sports, Boy Scouts, and achieved a brown belt in Tae Kwon Do. But his true passion was music. He played the guitar and was self-taught on the drums. Over the years, he was part of several bands and performed in several events. He aspired to be a professional musician. He had been working at writing his own music for years and recently began recording some of his pieces with his friends. Sam was a kind, caring, beautiful person who touched many lives. He loved to read and had a hunger for knowledge. He was witty and everyone who knew him knows how much he loved a good debate. He is and will always be deeply loved by his parents, Rob & Catherine; his sister Caitlin who is his best friend; his girlfriend, Brittnee Smith, his grandparents, his Aunt Kris and her family, his Uncle Tommy and his family, all the rest of his extended family, many friends and his dog, Izzy.
