As a second-generation Colorado native, Stan attended East High school and the University of Colorado. He worked for the State of Colorado and was also a prolific artist. He studied art at the University of Colorado at Denver and the Art Students League of Denver. Stan was a member of the Colorado Artists Guild and volunteered at the Littleton Depot Gallery for many years. He was a gifted artist and a creative thinker.
Stan is survived by his daughter Karen Harolds and husband Evan; Mark Schwartz and wife Kathryn Deringer; grandsons Saul Schwartz and Ari Schwartz.
