Sven Eryk Johnson, 31, of Castle Rock, Colorado, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2026. He was born on October 19, 1994, in Rochester, Michigan, and grew up in Clarkston, Michigan, where he graduated from Clarkston High School in 2012. He went on to become a Lead Journeyman Electrician, a trade he was genuinely proud of and a career that allowed him to meet so many friends.
Sven was an incredible light, a genuine down-to-earth soul with the kind of presence that drew people in and made them feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. He had a contagious smile, laugh, and eyes that lit up for the things and people he cherished, especially his niece and nephew. Creative, artistic, and deeply passionate, Sven was an old soul and a deep thinker who loved fiercely and lived fully. To know him was to love him.
Sven was an avid hockey player, had a love for the outdoors, and could be found hiking, camping, biking, or simply embracing whatever adventure life had to offer. Halloween got celebrated all month long, and he had a deep love for the band Phish, which he shared with his brother.
Sven is survived by his fiancée, Leah Siebert; his parents, Susan (Sam) Brokaw and Scott (Nicole) Johnson; his siblings, Elyse (Jesse) Kessler and Jorgen Johnson; his nephew, Micah; his niece, Kyler; and the best kitty Villian.
He leaves behind a hole that cannot be filled, and a love that will never fade.
