She is survived by her son, Gary Richmond; three grandchildren, Matthew Richmond, Jeanine Richmond and Charlene Doguet; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two step-sons and ten step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Chris Richmond; brothers, Willard and Elbert Triefenbach and sister, Virginia Wagner.
Memorial Funeral Services will be held to honor Vernice's life at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 10, 2011, at the Olinger Andrews Caldwell Gibson Funeral Home, 407 Jerry Street, Castle Rock, Colorado 80104, 303-688-3191. Interment will follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery in Castle Rock.
