Vicki attended Garinger High school in Charlotte, North Carolina. She met Phillip A Nelms, and they were married on June 15, 1966 in South Carolina. She was blessed to spend 59 with the love of her life. Together they welcomed daughter Gina and son John.
Vicki enjoyed the outdoors and loved riding her ebikes. She was a great mother and grandmother.
Vicki is survived by her husband Phillip; daughter Gina (Dave) Beasley; son John (Kimberly) Nelms; grandchildren Adam (Mercades) Frank, Ren (Tyler) Frank, and Allison Frank; great-grandchildren Kieran Frank, Amayah Frank, Tannen Frank, and Aven Frank.
Vicki was preceded in death by her father, John Woodrow Nelson; mother, Ruth Griffin Nelson; and brother, John Alan Nelson, of whom she was the caregiver for over 20 years.
