William Alfred Marsh, Sr., a native of Deadwood, South Dakota, and longtime resident of Spearfish, South Dakota, passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 70, in Castle Rock, Colorado. He passed away peacefully with his son, Billy, by his side, after recently moving to be closer to him.
Born on September 17, 1954, Bill grew up in the historic town of Deadwood and spent most of his adult life in Spearfish. He proudly served his country in the US Army and worked at Homestake Mine and Croell RediMix.
Bill's passion for Harley Davidson motorcycles was well-known to his friends and family. He enjoyed many adventures on the open road.
He is survived by his children, Teresa Norden of Hastings, NE, and Billy (Trish) Marsh of Castle Rock, CO; twin sister Catherine Sandy of Sturgis, SD; grandchildren Kelsey (Austin), Michael, Isaac (EB), Larissa, Liam, Elliette, Cohen, and great-grandchildren Rise, Ryker, Briella, Bentley, Kehlani, Kobe, and Ellie.
Bill was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Margaret Marsh, and sister Rose Marie Jones.
