William "Bill" Weiss

54 of Castle Rock passed away on Wednesday, August 10 at 9:30 am surrounded with family after a strong 8 month fight against lung cancer. Bill was a beloved husband of Yvonne Weiss and cherished father of Lindsay Emerson, Amanda Emerson, Brian Weiss, Madelyn Emerson, and Haleigh Weiss. Pet lover to Shamus, Riley, Chloe and Tucker. Bill was a highly respected and successful Business owner of Metro Paint Supplies for the past 25 years. He enjoyed collecting and restoring vintage cars, flying his plane, boating, riding motorcycles, and traveling. Most of all he loved giving to others and putting smiles on their faces. Bill honorably served our country in the United States Marine Corps. He cherished time spent with family and friends. Bill is survived by his sister Kathleen (Allen) Schultz, brother Gary (Debbie) Weiss, and in-laws Ron (Susan) Fuller, Yvette Woods, and Kevin (Erin) Fuller. Bill was also loved by many nieces, nephews, family, and close friends. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Mary (Botham) Weiss. In lieu of flowers, you can make a donation in Bill’s memory to Faith Lutheran Church in Castle Rock. Visitation will be held at Faith Lutheran Church at 10:30 am with services to follow at noon on Saturday, August 13, 2011.
