Audrey was born on October 7, 1931 in Baltimore, MD to Hilda Mullineaux (nee McGee) and Charles Norman McGee. While raising 4 children she successfully ran Bay Island Seafood, Inc. on Pratt and Monroe Streets. She then opened a second location in the Mondawmin area of Baltimore City. She was always dedicated to her community and served on multiple committees including Bon Secour Hospital, Pratt Street Merchants Association and YANA (You Are Never Alone). She worked closely with city planners for continued growth and good welfare for the Southwestern district. Audrey received many Citations from the City of Baltimore for her tireless efforts and contributions to Baltimore and her community. In 1983 she received the Woman of the Year award from the National Association of Women Business Owners. All of this and more on an eight grade education. Audrey had a passion for making things beautiful. Whether it be gardening, decorating or making improvements to an old building. She was always working on a beautification project.

Her legacy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she interacted with. Help her kindness, loyalty and compassion continue by making a donation to the Alzheimer’s Organization in lieu of flowers.
