Audrey Thurn Neser

On May 25, 2022; Audrey Thurn Neser passed away. She is the beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Neser, Sr.; loving mother of Tom Neser, Jr. and wife Martha, and Lynn Lyons and wife Amy; devoted grandmother of Derek Neser and wife Sarah, and John Reid, Sr. and wife Kelly; cherished great grandmother of Emmett Neser, John Avery Reid, Gavin Reid, Garrett Reid, and Parker Reid. Audrey also leaves behind her grand dogs, Tucker and Jill, and a boatload of foster kittens.

Born and raised in Catonsville and attended the Catonsville United Methodist Church from baptism until her passing. She was a secretary to the Miriam Circle and the XYZ Club. She worked at C&P Telephone Company in the office and was the secretary for Wm. Wrigley Co. Mid Atlantic office in Columbia. She was the Captain of the Medical Department at Charlestown Treasure Sale since 1998.

She enjoyed traveling throughout the USA, Canada and Nova Scotia. Locally, she spent many summers at Ocean City, MD and Wildwood NJ. You could find her having cookouts with friends, playing cards and line dancing.

Family will receive friends on Friday, June 10 from 10:30-11AM at Our Lady of the Angels Chapel, 711 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, MD 21228. A funeral service will follow at 11AM. Interment in Garrison Forest Veteran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Charlestown Benevolent Care Fund, 711 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, MD 21228 or to Catonsville United Methodist Church, 6 Melvin Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228.
