On August 13, 2014; BERNARD HENRY DERWART passed away. He is the beloved husband of Theresa Derwart (nee Thim) for over 70 years; loving father of Lawrence, and Richard and wife Barbara; cherished grandfather of Brian Derwart and wife Susan Lamatrice; devoted great grandfather of Mariella and Grace Ann. A decorated WWII Veteran.
Family will receive friends on Sunday, August 17 from 2-5PM at STERLING-ASHTON-SCHWAB-WITZKE FUNERAL HOME OF CATONSVILLE, INC.; 1630 Edmondson Avenue; Catonsville, MD 21228. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10AM, Monday, August 18 at St. Mark Chapel; 30 Melvin Avenue; Catonsville, MD 21228. Interment to follow at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery; 4430 Belair Road; Baltimore, MD. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Disabled American Veterans; P.O.
