The one story that comes to mind for me is one that I believe we all heard from Uncle Chris, perhaps, or Aunt Ingrid or one of our cousins who were in the car with him.  (He was driving the infamous 71 Kingswood Estate wagon. (Erik))

A number of years ago, Uncle Chris was driving up to Levittown from Catonsville for Thanksgiving, on Thanksgiving -- a heavy traffic day.  Uncle Chris was pushing the envelope of the speed limit and in fact was pulled over by a State Trooper.  Uncle Chris complied with the request to produce his license by opening his wallet.  The State Trooper upon looking at his wallet, realized what an important person Uncle Chris was and began calling him "Sir" and asked him to " please drive carefully" for the rest of the trip and let him go.

Our sincere sympathy to the entire Wetheral family in this difficult time. Chris and I grew up together and my memories of all the good times watching/attending NY Giant football games, playing stickball for hours and countless other activities will always be with me.
Our "philosophy" lessons at the Villiage Inn bar while attending Iona College contributed to us actually graduating.

I was Chris' supervisor for several years on the SOG team.  He was great to work with, reliable, and upbeat.  I will always remember him fondly.

So sad to hear of our friend's passing.

I have a memory of some 50 years ago, as a 7-8 year old, wrestling with Uncle Chris in front of the TV set at 10 Charlotte St. in White Plains.  He was a big, powerful young man with dark, wavy hair... larger than life to me... amazingly, I seemed to win all the matches!

Rest in Peace, Chris.  We who worked with Chris on the Baltimore SOG Squad have many fond memories of Chris - and many stories we could tell - but won't.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you, Ingrid, and your wonderful family.

Thank you, Uncle Chris, from all the Levittown descendants who get to play the Turkey Bowl every year and think of you.

This is how I remember it. 
One brisk Thanksgiving afternoon, forty plus years ago (exact year unknown), U. Chris, along with a host of Hanemans and Wetherals went outside to throw a football around in the field behind 54 Forsythia Dr. E. Little did he, or any of the other participants know that this would be the beginning of an event that not only takes place year after year on Thanksgiving day, but continues to be a high point of the day. The event is commonly known around Levittown, as the Turkey Bowl. Over the years the Turkey Bowl has seen both friends and family participate. In 2012 the Turkey Bowl saw its fourth generation take the field. That's one legacy for you, Uncle Chris.
