I'll always remember Damari late one evening. She had her iPad playing music trying to get her nurse to dance so she could record her and post the video somewhere in the technology world. I came by and stopped in my tracks-taking in the moment when Damari was happy and smiling! I thought I could do the dance she was requesting and let her video me- grabbed a couple other nurses to assist in the fun! She was laughing and just enjoying the moment. This is how I will remember sweet Damari! It was an honor and a privilege to be apart of her life, Anne. Thank you for sharing her with us!

Totally loved her spunk and character. So honored to have known her and helped care for her. So sorry she left so soon.

Damari's daily visits to my office were always the highlight of my day. She was perpetually positive, despite any discomforts, her love for life and all the people in it were all that mattered to Damari. Of the hundreds of memories I have of her, the best lesson she taught us: Happiness must be our #1 priority, above all else. To live in the moment. Rather than seek answers, embrace joy in every experience. When things get tough, keep smiling and you'll feel alot better. Beautiful little angel Damari, we will miss you. Love, Your School Nurse, Mrs. Beck
