We both worked at BelAir market for our grandfathers when we were 14 years old. Ran hydro planes on Gray's creek and at Deep Creek Lake. Played flag football in our 20's. Bought Corvettes in 1970-71 and was in his wedding. In later life did see much of each other as our pathes went in different directions but he was often in my thoughts and pictures of the old days. Tried to get him to visit florida and go flying. A good guy and one of my oldest friends. Rest easy old friend.

As Described by his fellow journeyman Van F Bartell of Flowery Branch GA-
“ I love bringing up things that had upset him in the past. He would take over the story and tell it in detail colorful words and all and get just as red faced and upset as the day it happen.
My favorite one is when Tony Rondo borrowed Ed’s brand new 14” pipe wrench and returned it dirty and bent. 😮”

It was great having him at our house on the 4th of July. He handled the grill for us and always did a great job. I will miss his mechanical skills and his great sense of humor. Nancy
