I was so sad to hear of Fred's passing. I worked with him for many years and not only was he my boss but he hired me. He was a character. Had a great sense of humor, many funny stories and was a kind man. A large man with a large heart. He was friends at work with George Marll and Bernie Jedrowicz and together they were like the 3 stooges, so funny together. He retired many years ago from MDTA and I lost contact with him but thought about him many times. He and Mary Ruth came to my wedding 20 years ago. He talked about his family all the time and loved them dearly. He was a special man and my thoughts and prayes go out to Mary Ruth, your children, grandchildren and family and friends. May you find comfort in the memories you have of your life with him. Rest in peace dear Fred.

Aunt Mary Ruth, Mimi, Lucy, Laura,Julie, Noel...
I have the fondest memories of coming to your home and playing with you and all the pets. What a great time it was when Uncle Freddy would come home at the end of the day and we ran to give him hugs!
Mom ( Aunt Rose Marie) always called Uncle Fred her Cuddle Bear!
Grandocs was always a blast when Uncle Fred would drive up with those huge containers of Butter Brickle Ice Cream!
Knowing Uncle Freddy is with Mom and Dad in heaven brings comfort...his bright smile, loving hugs is a gift I will treasure forever.

Love you,

Judy

Dear Aunt Mary Ruth and all my cousins--I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Uncle Freddy was always so kind with a great personality--always talking and making everyone feel welcome--and always talking about all his kids--you could tell how much he loved all of you. May God bring you peace and comfort at this very sad time.

Dear Buchness family, I have so many fond memories of your Dad growing up on Oak Hill Rd. I'll never forget my first Rock Fishing trip with your Dad and cleaning them in your backyard! We were so proud of our catch! He was such a soft spoken kind hearted man. Always liked how he called me Jimmy. Our prayers and loving thoughts to you.
