Diane and family - I'm so sorry to hear about George's passing.  He was such a kind and loving man and will be missed terribly by all of you and many others as well.  Please take care of yourselves and please let me know if you need anything.

Dear Diane, and the rest of your beautiful family: I was so sorry to learn of the loss of your beloved husband, father and grandfather.

I have very fond memories of our time together at The Duquesne Union, at Duquesne University, while I had the great honor of working with George while he was on the staff and I was serving as President of the Program Board and a member of the Third Alternative.

I recall that George's door was always open for a "drop-in", and his demeanor was always so upbeat and jovial. He was a great role model and mentor for me -- as I was bouncing around trying to decide between a career in College Administration or one in the Theatre.

Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Diane and family, George will always be remembered by me as a gentle man.  His door was always open to any student who needed to talk.  At UMBC, he set an example for all of the UC employees to follow.  He was a kind and gentle soul.

Diane, I am so sorry for your loss!  George was such a joy to work with when I was at UMBC.  One of my fondest memories was sharing a table with you and George at a sweetheart dance at UMBC.  So appropriate since he was always was one!   He will be missed by many!

I am saddened by this loss.  George was my boss, my mentor and my friend during the 80's and 90's at UMBC.  May his good heart and soul continue to live on with all of us who knew this man.  Blessings and peace to Diane, his family, friends and colleagues.  Namaste!
