On July 13, 2014, Irene Aist Zimmerman passed away at the age of 89. Loving wife of the late Donald L. Zimmerman. Daughter of the late Arthur Elton and Isabelle (nee Gaither) Aist. Beloved mother of Debbie Trail and husband Bremen, and Nancy Waskey and her late husband Bertram. Sister of Ellen Lock and husband George, and the late Arthur Elton Aist Jr. and his wife Ora Lee. Sister-in-law of Dorothy Freeman. Grandmother of Matt Trail and wife Joanna, Katie Trail, Nate Waskey, Becca Spradlin and husband Phil. Great-Grandmother of Elizabeth Trail, Katharine Trail, and Jack Trail. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Family will receive friends at Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Homes, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville, MD 21228 on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm, where services will be on Thursday at 12 noon. Interment Lorraine Park Cemetery.
