On February 28, 2014, Jack L. Wright, loving father of Vickie Wright and husband of Jenny Wright passed way. Jack passed peacefully after battling with heart and kidney disease for several months. He is survived by his wife, his daughters Vickie Wright and Debbie Sybert, as well as his three loving grandchildren, Andrew, Matthew, and Olivia Mayhew.
Jack had traveled to many countries while working as an electrical engineer for Westinghouse including serving as a civilian for the armed forces during the Vietnam War. In Jack’s later years he worked as U.S. Postal employee near Baltimore.
Jack will always be remembered for his warm and welcoming smile and love for his grandchildren. Jack will be missed by his daughter Vickie as well as Andrew, Matthew, and Olivia.
Family will receive friends at Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville, MD 21228 on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 3 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm. Funeral services will be held at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2001 Old Frederick Rd., Catonsville, MD 21228 on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 11am. His burial will follow at Lake View Memorial Park in Sykesville, MD.
