STROMBERG, Jane F., devoted wife, mother and homemaker passed away peacefully on October 2, 2012 at age 74. The long time Ellicott City resident was born in Baltimore City on March 26, 1938 to Margaret and Henry Shea. She was preceded in death by Henry Stromberg, her loving husband of 52 years. An active congregant of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish in Ellicott City, she served as the church’s organist for many years.
She is survived by daughter Karen Stromberg (Mark) of Jessup; daughter Lisa Frey of Ellicott City; son John Stromberg (Shelly) of Ft. Belvoir, VA; daughter Kathy Hornby (Johnny) of Lincoln University, PA; son Paul Stromberg (Teresa) of Katy, TX; son Michael Stromberg (Julie) of York, PA; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville, MD 21228 on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, 10 a.m., at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 4795 Ilchester Rd, Ellicott City, MD. Internment will take place at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Marriottsville.
