On October 4, 2016; JOAN DOLORES ARMSTRONG (nee Ruby); passed away. She is the beloved wife of the late Richard A. Armstrong; loving mother of Paul B. Armstrong and wife Kim Elek, Mary Kathryn Stewart and husband Allan Twig, and Gregory N. Armstrong and wife Roseann Armstrong; cherished grandmother of Taylor, Elizabeth, and Lachlan Armstrong, Brennan, Julie, Liam, and Keiran Stewart, Brian, Scott, Patrick, and Sean Armstrong; devoted great grandmother of Charley Armstrong.
Family will receive friends on Friday, October 7 from 3-5 & 7-9PM at STERLING-ASHTON-SCHWAB-WITZKE FUNERAL HOME OF CATONSVILLE, INC., 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11AM, Saturday, October 8 at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 5422 Old Frederick Road, Baltimore, MD 21229. Interment in New Cathedral Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Little Sisters of the Poor, 601 Maiden Choice Lane, Catonsville, MD 21228.
