I was shocked and saddened to learn of Jon's sudden passing last week. I was informed of this after the 11 o'clock mass at St. Mark on January 12th. Jon was always there to lend a hand to take up the collection if I was short of ushers. We will miss his smiling face and wonderful personality. So sorry for your loss.

I met Jon when he worked for the Rachubas in the '80's.  We were all in high school and would go to the horse shows with Theresa and Kim and Mrs. Rachuba.  Jon was such a kind and hard-working guy.  He seemed to gain happiness by giving 100% to helping anyone who needed it.  I'm so sorry his life was cut short this soon.  From reading these entries, it seems Jon made a great life for his girls and may those memories sustain all three of you.  God bless you all.

So sorry for your loss Sandra, Lindsay and Elizabeth. While I never had the pleasure of meeting Jon, my oldest daughter, Kelly, coached Elizabeth in lacrosse.  When I relayed the sad news that Jon had passed, Kelly's first words were “he was such a nice man.  He always carried the heavy equipment bag and did anything he could to help.”  May wonderful memories like this get you through these difficult times.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all …

When we were in grade school, Jon was my best friend.
I am from a dysfunctional family, Jon is not. He was kind and
gentle, and gave me hope. We drifted apart over the years, but
I never forgot that is was Jon I learned compassion from.

Jon was great guy, friend, supporter who always gave 500%.  You are all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jon was a mans man, he worked hard and loved his family. He knew what mattered, his family and friends always came first- he would give you the shirt off his back. They broke the mold with Jon! Our prayers go out to his family for their loss.
