Josephine Louise Hill

On March 16, 2015, Josephine Louise Hill of Baltimore; She was the daughter of the late Joseph E. Hill, who was killed in WWII in Belgium, the late Louise “Weedie” Parlett Gardiner and step-daughter of the late Adrian Posey Gardiner Jr.; Loving sister of Donna M. Haigley (Paul) of Annapolis, MD, Stephen J. Gardiner (Debbie) of Marydel, MD, Michael K. Gardiner Sr. (Brenda) of Clements, MD, Deborah L. Friedrich (Ronald) of LaPlata, MD, and the late Brenda A. Dodd and Lawrence A. Gardiner Sr. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She graduated in 1959 from Trinity Preparatory School in Ilchester, MD. She graduated from St. Joseph College in Emmittsburg, MD in 1963. She also graduated from Mother Catherine Spalding College, Louisville, KY where she received a double Master’s Degree in Social Work and Hospital Administration. She had a devoted career as an Administrator of the Children’s Home of Catonsville, MD for approx. 20 years.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville, MD 21228 on Friday, March 20, 2015, from 3 to 5pm and 6 to 8pm, with Prayers at 7pm, where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015, 10:00am.
