OBITUARY
Julianne Purfield Winters
August 21, 1958 – January 11, 2021
On Monday, January 11, 2021, Julianne Purfield Winters, 62, of Catonsville, was called home by the Lord. She was preceded by her mother and father, Julia and Robert Purfield, and her brother, Bob Purfield. She is survived by her husband Jim Winters; daughter Amanda and son-in-law Chris Paez; mother-in-law Jane Winters; aunt Madeline Sacerdote; and many other loving family members and friends.
A longtime employee of Verizon, Julianne loved her career; vacationing at the beach; hunting for sea glass; making others smile; and living life to the fullest with her loved ones. Her beautiful presence will be missed more than words can describe.
A celebration of life will be held when the COVID-19 pandemic ends. Details will be announced at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Saint Agnes Foundation, specifically designated to the Resident Research Fund.

Jim, Amanda, Chris
We are so very saddened by your loss. Julianne had the amazing smile and could always brighten any room when she walked in. She was such a caring and devoted daughter to Aunt Julie as well as a loving wife, mother, cousin, and friend.
We pray she was greeted in heaven by her mom, dad, and brother Bobby and that your broken hearts will be comforted by precious memories and the love of so many family and friends. God bless!

Jim, Amanda and Chris, words can't explain my sadness for.you all. She was a bright light and her brilliance will be forever missed.. She was a true friend. We had the best time last February in New York with Dennis and his wife. We laughed ourselves silly at missing all the trains and darn near freezing at an abandoned train station.

Jim, Amanda and Chris,
We are so very sorry for your loss. Julianne will be greatly missed. Please know we will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers.
Julianne was a unique combination of so many things, cautious but adventurous, a great listener and outgoing, always generous, kind, and a loyal, loving friend. We are blessed to have so many fond memories of Julianne that will live in our hearts forever.

Jim, Amanda and Chris,
Words can not express my sadness in hearing of Julianne's passing. I worked with her for 11 years and considered her a friend. My heart goes out to you and all of her family.
I also was a longtime employee of Verizon and know how dedicated to her job she was and how special family meant to her.
Prayers to you at this difficult time.

Our parents let us go to Ocean City alone when we were 16 ! They drove us to the Admiral hotel, got us checked in and we were on our own for a whole week. Seems like yesterday.

I will always remember dancing at the end of Amanda and Chris’ wedding. We all had so much fun. It’s a memory I’m sure everyone there will cherish. Words can’t express how much sorrow the world will feel by your passing. Sometimes life just isn’t fair.

To the Family,
I wish you my Deepest Condolences. "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, Love leaves a memory no one can steal." I worked with Julianne a little over 7 years at Verizon, and as a new employee to the department, Juelz was always willing to take me under her wing and give me proper direction and perspective. I will miss our discussions about leasing staffs, girl advice, and the Philadelphia Eagles....how we will always have 2017. Thank you for all the wisdom and memories that will Forever Last a Lifetime.

Julianne I miss you so much. You will never be forgotten because you are in my heart as usual forever. You were my best friend and I could tell you anything. I will miss my phone calls on the weekends and during the week. I remember all the good times we had especially when you were growing up when grandmom and I lived with all of you and when I would come to Maryland to spend the holidays and we would share the same bed when it was time to sleep and we would cuddle up and tell each otherI love you very much. Thank you so much for everything you did for me, it will never be forgotten. Eventually I will see all of you again and it will be like old times xoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Jim, Amanda, and Chris,
My love to you and prayer for comfort. Julianne has been a friend, leader, and inspiration to so many. Her warm and gentle voice and manners made spending time with her a retreat. Beach time was special and many years of music concerts fill my memories. Heaven has gained a beautiful angel and we shall be with her again in God's time. Until then hold the memories and keep her's alive through carrying on the good and love she shared.
