Julie is lovingly remembered by her parents, E. Deane and Patricia Cowperthwaite; her siblings Suzanne Cowperthwaite, Stacey Starling (David Starling), Kristin Cowperthwaite (Daniel Shiffner), and Robert Cowperthwaite. She was predeceased by her beloved sister Theresa Till (Daniel Till).
Julie had a vibrant personality and a variety of enthusiasms that brought joy to her life. She had a special place in her heart for babies and animals. As her siblings brought eleven nieces and nephews into the world, Julie wanted to be the first to hold them and sing them a lullaby. She loved and was loved by four family dogs, all of whom looked to her as their most cherished and trusted caretaker. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and passionately collected Beanie Babies. Her love of soap operas strengthened her bond with her mother as her love of Star Trek did the same with her father. Throughout her life, Julie faced many challenges, but she never allowed them to dampen her spirit or make her less loving or kind. Regardless of her circumstances she always brought light into the lives of those around her.
Julie’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her legacy bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
