On January 4, 2020, Katharine Estella Bitzel passed away; Beloved wife of the late Frederick Martin Bitzel; Loving mother of Mark Bitzel Sr., and the late David Bitzel; Cherished grandmother of Mark Jr. and Jenny, and great-grandmother of Nicole Lynne and Ainsley Lynne; Katharine was predeceased by her parents, Jacob Alosious and Barbara Estella Boehm.

"I thought of you with love today, but that’s nothing new. I thought about you yesterday and the days before that too.

As you went on your adventures to many places, you loved your bus trips, the many games of bingo and solitaire, you always had that beautiful smile.

A golden heart stopped beating, hardworking hands at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. "

I’m so sorry to hear about Ms Cass. She and Bud were such good people and great to spend time with. I really enjoyed getting to know her well over the years that I spent time with her taking her to lunch and shopping. I’m really sorry I never received the information of where she was for the last year or I would have happily been there visiting her. It looks like she had her beautiful smile until the end. I will miss her.

Dear Mark and family,
Sorry for the loss of your Mom. Your Mom and Dad were wonderful people. Garden Ridge Road was one big family. Great place to grow up.
