Kitty Hardy

Kitty Hardy, a beloved resident of Gwynn Oak, Maryland, passed away on November 8, 2025, at the age of 73. Born on August 20, 1952, Kitty was known for her warmth and dedication to her family and community.

Kitty enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a registered nurse at Sinai Hospital, serving for over 30 years. She was particularly fond of singing "Jesus Loves Me" while rocking newborns, a testament to her nurturing spirit.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 48 years, Michael Hardy, and her cherished daughters, Erin Hornberger (Dwayne), Allison Rees (Seth), and Rebecca Hardy. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Hannah Hornberger, Georgia Hornberger, Emily Rees, and James Rees. Kitty is also lovingly remembered by her sisters, Anne Canfield, Nancy Lawson, Barbara Michael, Linda Satosky, and her brother, Wayne Fox.

In her leisure time, Kitty found joy in sitting on the beach and reading novels, while listening to the ocean waves, these activities that brought her peace and happiness.

Kitty Hardy will be deeply missed by all she knew and loved.

A Memorial Service will be held November 19, 2025, at 11AM at Bishop Cummins Reformed Episcopal Church 2001 Frederick Road Catonsville, MD 21228.
