Lilacs - Every spring she would bring some of her beautiful fragrant lilacs to the office. I've planted to shrubs at my home in order to attain that wonderful smell. Every spring when they bloom, she will be remembered.

Lavern was a good friend. We shared laughter and sorrow, sometimes at the same time. She was someone you could count on when you needed to be appreciated and loved. She was always there to offer words of support and make you laugh. We worked together, had lunch together and even went to the movies together. A greater person you will never meet. You will be missed, but your legacy will live on. Rest in peace my friend.

Love,
Sandy and Al Michael

Let's talk about a beautiful lady. Even though Lavern was my mother's age she was more like a friend. She welcomed us into her home even though we were a little rambuncious. Always a smile on her face no matter what was going on in her world. Raised each one of her kids unconditionally. No favorites. Sorry meatball. But true. I will always have great memories of Lavern. Prayers and love Lavern. Helen

One of the nicest women you could ever meet....kindness and light is how I would describe her. We shared some great times at work, especially at lunch time. And it's still hard for me to eat an Oreo cookie....double stuffed.....without thinking of her. It was a joy to have been your friend. Love, Mary

One AMAZING MOM, totally and completely devoted to her family, a true servant of God, giver of love and her "heart", endless compassion for others, the best listening ears on earth, made you feel like no one else was more important than you, gracious, kind, and sweet, never ending desire to always make plans for a funfilled family event, insisted on serving your personal favorite birthday dinner & cake each year to celebrate your life, relished in the joys of surprising you with special gifts, touched you with her values of respect, integrity and commitment. She was short but mighty in stature, and sometimes stubborn but a simple lady with simple dreams...to raise her children as God fearing members of our community. A fine woman to learn from because She lead by example, committed to her faith , loved The Lord and her church family! Such a blessing to so so many who knew her...I'll surely be lost without your gentle wisdom, missing your voice in my ear and kind embrace with a kiss , a true heartbreak leaving us in tears Mom, until our next reunion, heaven has gained a new inspiration ! Honored to be your daughter and call you my mom! Gail
