Lilian May Daughtrey passed away at Charlestown Senior living on May 26, 2025, at the age of 96. She was born in Baltimore to George and Catherine Carrick on October 2, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Edward Daughtrey, to whom she was married for 70 years.
Lilian graduated from Western High School and was an assistant manager at C&P Telephone Company. She enjoyed time with her family, vacationing in Ocean City, sewing, reading, and some international travel during retirement. Like a true Baltimorean, she loved crabs and the Orioles.
She is survived by her son, Wayne Daughtrey (Anne); daughter Joan Stup (Ron); grandchildren David M. Stup (Chelsea), Eric Stup; and great grandchildren Sloane R. and Eli S. Stup. Lilian was the last surviving sibling of the late Catherine Lilley, Estelle Kelley, and Robert Carrick.
Family will receive friends from 10:30-11AM, Thursday, June 5 at the Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228. A celebration of Lilian's life will follow at 11AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Lilian's memory to Christ Lutheran Church Inner Harbor, 701 S. Charles Street, Baltimore, MD 21230.
