On July 1, 2021, Lonnie Thomas Bray Sr. passed away; beloved husband of 57 years to Eleanor Bray (nee Poole); loving father of Lonnie Jr. and wife Dawn, Roy and wife Wendy, Kevin and Chris Bray; Cherished grandfather of Racheal, Breanna, Raven, Ruby, Kamryn, Kollin, Khloe, and Christopher; and great-grandfather of Wyatt and Logan; Dear brother of James Bray; Lonnie was predeceased by his parents, Piercie and Mildred Bray; and by his siblings, Norma Schoppert, Naomi Morris, Wayne, Kenneth, and Perry Bray.
Lonnie enjoyed hunting for deer, turkey and quail; He enjoyed going to casinos, and taking family trips to Ocean City; In his younger days he enjoyed running; He loved coaching for Little League baseball, and was a Baseball Commissioner who established the EYO- Elkridge Youth Organization travel baseball team; He was a Baltimore Colts, Ravens and Orioles fan; and he enjoyed listening to the Beatles and country music.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Avenue, Catonsville, MD 21228, on Sunday, July 11, 2 to 4PM and 6 to 8PM; where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 12, 2021, 11:00AM; Interment Lakeview Memorial Gardens.
