I had many happy memories here at Charlestown with Lyle and Gloria. We came to Charlestown at the same time so had that special bond. We had fun kidding that Lyle was my son since our name McCullough was the same. I will always remember him as a caring person who loved his family and he had a wonderful sense of humor. I know he will be in God's care. Ruth McCullough

Doc was the consummate Debonair pilot. I will never forget the cold, windy, snowy night I was looking out my kitchen window when the runway lights went on. Who would fly on such a day, let alone at night, in this weather. Suddenly Doc's Debonair passed over the fence and glided to a smooth landing way shorter than any Cub I've seen. He knew that Debonair like nobody else and handled our short, barely lit runway, like he lived on it all his life. Doc was a pleasure to befriend in the short time Rich and I got to know him. He was greatly missed when he left Air Troy and will be further missed. CAVU Doc!!!

"Doc" as the "Marshman" an orange glowing pumpkin on a stick running around the marsh during campfires. Pyrotechnic "wars" with the neighbors, Airplane rides that made Doc smile if you got woozy and hot chocolate nights. A great friend and neighbor, you are missed.

The sneakiest smile on Uncle Lyles Face when he put all of us kids upside down in the waste basket in Whitnall Park at a Family picnic. Classic
