Margaret F. Rowan

Margaret Frances (Peggy) Rowan, age 89, formerly of Knoxville, passed away Thursday, February 20th at Charlestown Retirement Home in Catonsville, MD.. Peggy was a member of All Saints Catholic Church and was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She was former secretary for the FBI in Philadelphia. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, John A. O’Hara and Frances McFadden; sister, Mary O’Hara Aiken; brother, Eugene O’Hara. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, William J. Rowan; 6 daughters and their spouses, Linda Hittle and husband Thomas of San Diego, CA, Sharon Romaine of Elkridge, MD, Teresa Shupp and husband David of State College, PA, Margaret Ann (Peggy) Federico and husband Rick of Scottsdale, AZ, Barbara Reynolds and husband Thomas of Chattanooga, TN, Kathleen Cornett and husband James of Knoxville; 15 grandchildren, Christine Goldby, Katie Grey, Mark Romaine, Kelly Worley, Alex Shupp, Rosemary Ciletti, Rick Federico, Brad Federico, Matt Federico, Maddie Federico, Shea Federico, Emily Harper, Grace Smith, Michael Cornett and Caroline Cornett; and 7 great grandchildren; brother, John A. O’Hara of Chaline, WA; several nieces and nephews.
