On October 17, 2011, Matthew M. "Bud" Jones III, loving father of Deborah Mathias and her husband Kevin Mathias, and Christine Rush and her husband Carl Rush. Grandfather of Keith and Jake Mathias, and Ashley and Tommy Rush. Brother of Thomas Wilson Jones and wife Nancy Jones. Also survived by his niece Kerrie Bunting and her children Kyle and Regan Bunting, and his nephew Brennan Jones and wife Katie. Buddy was a member of the Goose Harbor Marina and Yacht Club. He served through the offices of the Yacht Club ultimately serving as commodore. Volunteered for Special Olympics fishing Tournament events, and the Baltimore Aquarium.
Family will receive friends at Sterling-Ashton-Schwab-Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, Inc., 1630 Edmondson Ave., Catonsville, MD 21228, on Sunday from 12 to 1pm, where services will be held at 1pm.
