I practice taught under her in 1963, and found her to be an extraordinarily lovely talented woman..We exchanged Christmas cards for years and maybe lost touch 10 years ago..I am deeply saddened and I am sure her family must be lost without her.  Karen Owens Shorewood WI

I've known Yvette since I was a student in  her grade school class. I was purposely failing to keep from going to the next grade, but she caught onto my plan. She sat me down and said, " now Mark, I know what you're up to. But you can not stay here forever. I will always be your friend." We have been friends ever since. At one time, she approached my Mother asking if she could adopt me. Of course my Mother declined. I tried contacting Yvette during these past few weeks but could not get in touch with her. It was not like her and I knew something was wrong. Sadly, I found out today, " the day after my birthday ", that she had passed away. I am very saddened to hear this but at the same time am happy to know that she is in a better place. May she rest in peace. My condolences to her family and friends.

My family has such wonderful memories of Yvette and the time she spent with my children and me while visiting at the cape. We had great chats and laughs along with Claire. Our love and sympathy to Claire, David, and Amy and all of her friends. May she rest peacefully.

Yvette has been a good friend of mine for more than sixty years.  Elderhostels, Chorus, and lots of conversations and correspondence.  My sympathy to Yvette's family and friends in this loss.

Yvette was not only my sister but my best friend, and she was a beautiful person inside and out.  She had a great positive influence on my life, and she has left me with many special memories.

 I will miss Yvette!  All the long talks we used to have, giving each other insight on different things....  She was my absolute favorite customer to deliver to!   So sweet and kind and thoughtful  and forthright, she spoke her mind!  RIP, I miss you Yvette.

I will remember all the good times with Yvette on Cape Cod for years, since the eighties.  She was so good to my kids, & myself.
