Nancy L Hancock

Born July 30,1933 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Krauss. She was the beloved wife of the late John Hancock, her husband of 66 years.

Nancy was a Catonsville High School graduate and enjoyed a career working in retail.

She retired to Ocean Pines with her husband where she enjoyed trips to the beach and marathon games of miniature golf. She was an avid reader of books on ancient Egypt. She enjoyed coffee klatch nights with her Edmondson Heights neighborhood girlfriends and loved animals especially her Pomeranian dogs and her grand kitties.

Surviving are her children John Hancock Jr( Jack) and his wife Barbara of Finksburg, Md and Deborah Ann John and her husband Michael of Orlando, Fl.

She is survived by four grandchildren – Chris, Ryan, Katy, and Jim and two great grandchildren – Cooper and Cameron.

She was predeceased by her brother Ronald Krauss.

A visitation for Nancy will be held Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, 1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228. A funeral service will occur Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 11:00 AM, 1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228. A committal service will follow at Loudon Park Cemetery.
