Rita Michno Barrett

On July 16, 2021, Rita Michno Barrett, age 94, predeceased by her second husband, Francis “Frank” Barrett (3/2021) and her first husband Joseph S. Michno (6/1968), died peacefully in her home at Mercy Ridge, St. Stephen’s Green, Timonium, MD. She was born on September 18, 1926. She was the devoted mother of Susan Michno Hazard and her husband Jeffery, and Kevin J. Michno and his wife Anne, cherished grandmother to Megan Hazard Stack and her husband John and their children, Ellie, Evie, and Graham, Whitney Hazard Samarro and her husband Dave, Ashley Elizabeth Nuzback and her husband Daniel, and Caitlyn Anne Grecki Wood and her husband Matthew; Her nieces Lynn Joanne Bonifacio and her husband Rusty, Janet Ruth Schmick and her husband John. She is also survived by Frank’s children, Deborah Anne Krauss and her late husband Robert, Patricia Griesemer and her husband David, Charlene Quesenberry, and Pamela Deisher and her husband Fritz; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

The family will receive guests 30 mins (1:30PM) prior to the Memorial Mass that will be held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, 3755 St. Paul St. Ellicott City, MD 21043, on Thursday, July 22, 2021, 2:00PM. Inurnment will be held at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, Marriottsville immediately following the Mass.
