

Robert Patrick Campson was born on January 27, 1967 to mother Patricia Goebler and Thomas Campson (both deceased) in Jamaica Hospital in Queens, New York. He lived in New York for the first 11 years of his life before he moved. Early on in his life, Robert gained a guardian angel his little sister, Theresa Ann Campson. Rob moved to Maryland with his mother and stepfather, Larry Williams (now deceased) in 1978. At that time, he lived with his 2 brothers, Thommy, Billy, and Billy’s wife Patsy (now deceased) and later on Thommy’s wife Sherri. While in high school, Robert excelled in art and was on the football team. His senior year is Denise and Robert started dating, and 4 years later they got married in 1987. They have been together for 42 years. Together they had 2 beautiful girls, Mandy and Nikki, who were the apple of his eyes.
He became an important part of Denise’s family. His father in law Roy Schwartzebeck and mother in law Winnie Schwartzbeck, along with her sister Diane Rauser and her husband Dave Rauser. And he has loving and special nieces and nephews; Glenn Campson, William Campson, Cheyenne Cardinale, Brittany Brown, Rikki Ringold, Trey Brown and Roy Brown.
He was also blessed with a couple great nieces and great nephews; Mason, Faith, and Chase Campson, Thomas and AJ Cardinale, Grayson Ringold (who we lost 2 years ago) and Jaxson Ringold, and Leilani Zoscak.
Rob was also a great coach for his kids in Soccer and Softball. He was loved by many and many adopted Rob as “Uncle Rob” or “Dad”. Rob played Santa for all the kids in the family for 33 years. He will forever be remembered as Santa by many.
After 3 long months of being in the hospital and then transferred to rehab, Rob was able to come home to his 3 girls and have one of the best days he could have wanted. He was able to enjoy the sunshine, his beautiful family he created, some of his neighbors and his pets. He went to bed that night next to his beautiful wife and the dear Lord called him home. He will be missed but forever be remembered.
A visitation for Robert will be held Monday, May 12, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Sterling Ashton Schwab Witzke Funeral Home of Catonsville, 1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228. A visitation will occur Monday, May 12, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 11:00 AM, 1630 Edmondson Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228. A committal service will occur Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at Crest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 2150 Mt View Rd, Maryland, MD 21104.
