A gentle force of change, her life was a living prayer of service, creativity, and grace.
As a young woman, she journeyed from Port Richmond, Staten Island
to St. Paul, Minnesota, pursuing knowledge, independence, and purpose—
and there, she met the love of her life, Lonnie, Sr.
She walked the path of wisdom as a dual-degree graduate
of the College of Staten Island, a pioneer in the arts and the Black
pageant world, and a protector of children as a social worker in
New York City and Baltimore.
Her hands created beauty— through paint, gardens, and acts of quiet care.
Her spirit lifted neighbors, strengthened communities,
and changed lives without ever seeking the spotlight.
Her greatest legacy lives on in her children:
Lorenzo (Lonnie), Troy Anthony, and Kellyann—three souls shaped by her love, guided by her wisdom, and forever carrying her light.
She leaves behind a world made gentler by her presence,
brighter by her kindness, and stronger because she lived.
