Verna,
I will miss you deeply. You and Michael are two of the six most influential adults in my life. I am very fortunite to have grown up with 3 families. Between the six of you my personality and sense of right, wrong, compassion, loyalty and hard work has molded me into the person I am today.  All of you looked out for me and you helped guide us on the right path in life. Work hard and be proud. At no time did I ever feel like an outsider. I only felt loved and part of your family.  You are just one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting in my life, not to meation that you make the best Chili ever! All I can say is thank you and I will always remember how you affected my life.

Mom, just want you to know that I will truly miss u and will always be thinking of u. Want you to know that i will always have a place in my heart for u n u will never ever ever be forgotten. thank you for actually treating me as Ur son, and supporting me threw everything that I chose to do including school. Thank you for all the memories with u I won't forget one, not even the stupid or silly ones. I love making u laugh so hard n one only knows how hard u made me laugh. Hope you know u ment allot to me in so many ways. Thanks for all Ur great cooking, and a warm heart to talk to. I will do my best to stay strong for these two beautiful girls u have.               Your Mom was nothing less then a wonderful, beautiful spirited woman. This world is less special without her. It was widely known how much family meant to her. Everyone knows she lived for you guys and her grandbaby. I honestly mean it when I say I am here anytime if either of you need to talk, or just a shoulder. You guys are in my thoughts.

No one is ever lost.  Verna will live on in every act of joy and love we commit.  She will always be with us...

We had some memorable moments especially with that samsonite luggage she brought home from a job for Mike. Verna was an amazing friend mother and wife. I will cherish the fun times we had. Candi, Mel, and Mike - this is so devastating to everyone and our hearts go out to all of you. Verna was so loved and cherished, admired, and one loved woman. She was so beautiful inside and out and Uncle Dan and Aunt Deni will miss her terribly. We love all of you.

Even thou I never had the privilege of meeting her, she has touched my heart threw Candi. Everyone whom did know her talked highly of her. She was a great mom, wife, grandmother, daugther and friend. You will be greatly missed Verna may you fly high and watch over your loved ones and friends in heaven as you did on earth.

I only met Verna a few years ago, but as soon as we met, I could tell what a warm and sincere lady she was. My prayers go out to Verna's family and I hope they find peace in the knowledge that Verna, though taken from us much too soon, is in Heaven and will forever be right with her family in spirit forever. I know how much she loved her family because of the loving way she spoke about them.

The bond that i seen between you and ur daughter Candice each time i seen u pretty much showed me how great a person u were. Even tho i only met u a few times, it was definitely an honor! It was a blessing knowing you. You brought me so many great memories . Thank you for being a second mom to me when Candice and I were in high school together. You will be missed by many but never forgotten.

I Love you and your girls from the moment I saw yall! I was waiting for the school bus and we had just moved in. I do believe a short week later Topper made a appearance and jumped on the school bus and terrifying all the little children! haha :)  You all were always so welcoming to my family and I.  The moment we moved away from Maryland, was life altering. But you guys all made sure you kept in contact and even made a trip up here and boy did we have fun! The girls were always like the sisters I never had. Playing kickball in the street, jumping on the trampoline for hours and trying to make a fort out there to crash under the moonlight. You always had such a beautiful spirit and gentle soul. You would just laugh at my wild ways and say "Ohhh Meg" you knew I was the crazy one, as you were too ;) I Love you and will miss you dearly. I'm so proud of you and the wonderful job you did in raising your girls. They are forever my sisters and your forever my friend and other Mama. May your beautiful soul lay at rest.
