Vilma Elizabeth Amato (nee Falter) peacefully passed away on July 21, 2021. She is preceded in death by her husband Gordon who passed away in 1980. She is survived by two children: Valerie Merrill and her other half, Nick Sharp and Glenn W. Amato and his wife Jackie. She leaves 4 loving grandchildren: Whitney, Gordon, Brennan and Christine, and 4 awesome great grandchildren.
Vilma bred and showed West Highland White Terriers for over 50 years. During that time, she met and became friends with other Westie owners. Some of her dearest friends are those who purchased one of her puppies and then became family.
A celebration of her life is being planned for a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Maryland SPCA ( 3300 Falls Road, Baltimore, MD 21211, 410-235-8826) would be greatly appreciated.
