Joan - I was very sad to hear about Bill. I only met the two of you recently, and it was a great pleasure. Bill was such a modest, well-mannered and pleasant man, and really good company to sit with at dinner - that first night in Florida. He had left a great impression on me and I share just one small part of your great loss. Take care

Joan and Sandy, my comments to you both yesterday cannot begin to convey my (our) sorrow for your (and our)loss. Yes our loss as well because as you know, Bill was a very special person in my life having befriended me early in my career at First National, a friendhip which was sustianted over time, circumstances and distance. We had many great memories including business trips to Ireland, California and slippery rides on Gary Ave in the snow to name a few. Moveoever, Bill left his mark on all of the Technology advances he embraced and engineered to the benefit of his benefactors including First National, a very high bar in that world respected by all who worked with him.
On the personal side, Dee and I always enjoyed you and your family and the hospitality of your home and friends. We will miss him and remember him fondly.
I regret having to miss the service due to a conflct but my thoughts were with you.

I am so sorry for your loss. You are and will be in my prayers. Chesapeake will have to hang a portrait of Bill in the office because it will be too empty without him there. I will always think of Bill when I think of Chesapeake System Solutions or anything to do with Catonsville! I  always counted on Bill to help me when I was a Chesapeake rookie along with his sharing of stories and laughs. What I remember most is Bill's pride in his work, his family, his home, and the Catonsville community. After I left, Bill was the first person I would find when I'd visit and always my last stop before leaving.  He would go out of his way to make me feel missed and welcomed. His laugh is high on the list of memories. It would be an understatement to say he will be missed. Rest in Peace,Bill.

My sincerest sympathies and prayers are for Joan, family and Chesapeake family of Bill.  I worked for another business in the same building where Bill works.  He was a very good friend and always treated me with much respect. Every time we ran into in passing Bill had a pleasant smile and we could talk like we knew each other for years although I only known Bill for over 18 months. Bill is one of those shining lights in life that will be missed by many.  I am most saddened today of him being taken away from us.
